Talented actress Funda, known for her love of animals has opened up her heart further by joining a new fashion label Hispid to promote Gender Equality in Pakistan. Hispid started just six months ago helping two ladies Magdalein and Nazia in Rawalpindi break free of the poverty line and utilise their skills in embroidery which have been passed down through several generations.

Hispid employs women in poverty by allowing them to work from the comfort and safety of their homes which means avoiding factory conditions and allows them to look after their children.

Since then Hispid has grown at a rapid pace thanks to a multitude of talents and generous supporters and Funda was the perfect fit to portray the detailed and luxury craftsmanship of Hispids artisans.

"We were delighted to have Funda involved with our cause, and her passion was evident from Hispids inception. We were not only looking for someone who could model but someone who truly cares about what we are trying to achieve. Funda was a pleasure to work with, very humble and professional throughout."
