Sherrie Hewson to star in Cinderella at the Sunderland Empire this Christmas.

The clock is ticking until pantomime season and audiences at Sunderland Empire will have a ball when the enchanting rags-to-riches tale of Cinderella comes to town. 

ITV’s Benidorm actress, regular Loose Women panellist and Coronation Street legend, Sherrie Hewson will brighten up those winter blues this festive season in the pivotal role as the Fairy God Mother, showing that dreams really do come true. Sherrie is one of the most respected actresses in the country and has been in the business for over 40 years.

Sherrie is thrilled to be starring in the pantomime and is looking forward to sharing a wonderful Christmas and New Year with everyone in Sunderland and the added joy of coming back to her Father's hometown. 

Cinderella promises to be a sparkling treat for the whole family and Sunderland Empire will be welcoming back Martin Dodd for UK Productions.
